The Veneer Process
We begin by selecting premium quality veneer based on it's color, grain character, and overall consistency. Each sheet is hand selected to ensure that it meets Shur Ply standards before it moves into production
Next, veneer is carefully laid out and spliced to achieve even cohesion of the grain. Depending on the job we can slip-match, book-match, or random plank the veneer to see that your desired vision comes alive for the project.
Then, we press the high-quality veneer with your chosen core to provide durability. This allows for not only a visually appealing panel, but also one that’s made to last.
Once pressed, the panel is sanded to create and even surface and eliminate inconsistencies. This ensures that the panel is ready for your next project.
